- Football Foundation grant awarded. After 4 years on protracted
negotiations and a huge amount of effort, we have today received
the fantastic news that a grant has now been offered. We are hoping
for work to start at Erme Valley almost immediately. |

- South West Peninsula League Fixtures Released. The fixtures
for the 2010/11 season were released on 9th June and are now available
on this site. |

- Working in In India for 4 months. I have had to return
to India to work for the next 4 months. I will be in India from
8th June until 10th October. |

- More DJM Fixture amendments for U12's. Following last
weeks revised DJM fixtures for the remainder of the season, two
further amendments have been announced for the U12's. See the respective

- Dartmouth game re-arranged for 22nd April. Our League
game against Dartmouth, which should have been played on Good Friday,
has now been re-arranged to Thursday 22nd April. |

- Reserves Fixtures updated. The remaining 4 games of the
Reserve's season have been confirmed and include the re-arranged
game against Chaddlewood Miners. These fixtures have been published
on the Reserve's fixture page. |

- Amendments to First Team Fixtures. There have been a
few amendments to the First Team fixtures for the remainder of the
2009/10 season. We will now be playing Launceston on Weds 7th April
at Pennygillam and will no longer play the 2 scheduled games against
Clyst Rovers as they have withdrawn from the league and their record
will be expunged. |

- Further DJM fixture amendments. The DJM league have released
further fixture amendments for the U12's, U13's and U15's. The updates
have been uploaded and are available on the respective teams fixture
pages. |

- First Team lose 3 out at Langsford Park. The First
team lost 3-0 in their Peninsula League game at Langsford Park.

- Goalkeeper Coaching by J4K. The Ivybridge Youth keepers
were put through their paces on Sunday in a Goalkeeper Coaching
session by Just
4 Keepers. The session was the first of many as Ivybridge Town
YFC join forces with J4K to bring specialist goalkeeper coaching
to the Club. |

- Reserves lost 2-0 to Cafe Roma. The Reserves recent run
of fine form came to an end on Saturday as they lost to Cafe Roma
at Erme Valley. The day was soured further when the Bridgers saw
one of their players sent off. |

- Good Day for Ivybridge Youth. On the whole it was a good
day for the Ivybridge Youth teams that were in action. The U9's
beat Pheonix City 7-4, the U10's lost 9-1 to Plymstock and 4-1 to
Chaddlewood, the U11's beat AFC Southway 5-3, the U13's lost 4-0
to Tamarside Kings, the U14's beat AFC Plympton 6-1 and the U15's
beat AFC Southway 6-1. |

- Tesco Vouchers - we're collecting again. The 2010 Tesco
Sports Voucher campaign has started and we are collecting as usual.

- Updted DJM Fixtures. The DJM League have released the
fixtures for the remainder of the 2009/10 season. Visit the respective

- First Team draw 1-1 with Plymouth Parkway. The First
Team left Bolitho Park with honours even last night after a 1-1
draw against Plymouth Parkway. Parkway took the lead through Chris
Wright and the Bridgers levelled via Ryan McClements. |

- U15's through to DCFA Cup Final. The Under 15's beat
Broadmeadow 2-0 this afternoon in the semi-final, held at Erme valley.
Defender Hayden Baugh was on fine form and got both of the Bridgers
goals. They now face Elm United in the Final at Coach Road, Newton
Abbot, on Sunday 25th April. Congratulations to Gerry, Mike and
the boys on this excellent achievement. |

- First Team unlucky not get to get all 3 points at Kimberley.
The First Team can consider themselves unfortunate for not leaving
Saltash will all 3 points in a game that saw them take a 2 goal
lead and one in which they were the better side throughout. The
bridgers goals came courtesy of Ashley Elsworth and Joe Truelove. |

- Juniors have a mixed day of results. The U9's beat Pheonix
City 2-0, both U10's had good wins against Morley and Friary Mill,
the U11's lost against SB Frankfort, the U12's lost 2-1 to Callington,
the U13's suffered a heavy defeat against Callington, the U14's
drew 2-2 against Railway Beacon, the U15's beat Staddiscombe 1-0
and the U16's were knocked out of the Cup Semi-Final, losing 1-0
to Laira United. |

- Devon FA present Charter Standard Award. Lee Rider and
Ian Leonard from Devon FA came to Erme Valley tonight to present
the prestigious FA Charter Standard Community Club Award to Club
Secretary Paul Cocks and a number of Club representatives and players. |

- Ivybridge awarded FA Community Club Stats - I am delighted
to confirm that Ivybridge Town FC have been awarded with the FA
Charter Standard Community Club Status. Ivybridge join an elite
selection of Clubs across the County to recieve this prestigious
award. This is a huge achievement considering the Junior section
is only 5 years old. Thanks to everyone at the Club who has made
this happen. |
