- First Team draw 1-1 with Plymouth Parkway. The First
Team left Bolitho Park with honours even last night after a 1-1
draw against Plymouth Parkway. Parkway took the lead through Chris
Wright and the Bridgers levelled via Ryan McClements. |

- St Lukes Bowl game against Exeter City confirmed. Our
St Lukes Bowl Quarter-Final game against Exeter City has now been
confirmed for Wednesday 24th March. The game will be played at Newton
Abbot Spurs' Recreation Ground with a 7:15pm KO. |

- U15's through to DCFA Cup Final. The Under 15's beat
Broadmeadow 2-0 this afternoon in the semi-final, held at Erme valley.
Defender Hayden Baugh was on fine form and got both of the Bridgers
goals. They now face Elm United in the Final at Coach Road, Newton
Abbot, on Sunday 25th April. Congratulations to Gerry, Mike and
the boys on this excellent achievement. |

- First Team unlucky not get to get all 3 points at Kimberley.
The First Team can consider themselves unfortunate for not leaving
Saltash will all 3 points in a game that saw them take a 2 goal
lead and one in which they were the better side throughout. The
bridgers goals came courtesy of Ashley Elsworth and Joe Truelove. |

- Juniors have a mixed day of results. The U9's beat Pheonix
City 2-0, both U10's had good wins against Morley and Friary Mill,
the U11's lost against SB Frankfort, the U12's lost 2-1 to Callington,
the U13's suffered a heavy defeat against Callington, the U14's
drew 2-2 against Railway Beacon, the U15's beat Staddiscombe 1-0
and the U16's were knocked out of the Cup Semi-Final, losing 1-0
to Laira United. |

- U15's through to Devon Cup Semi Final. The U15's came
from 2 goals behind to beat Cup favourites Tiverton Town at Erme
Valley today, a result that takes them through to the semi-final
of the U15's Devon County Cup. The goals game via a Sam Hillson
penalty and a great strike from Sam Meads that changed the game.
The winner came courtesy of a Tivvy own goal. The U15's will now
face Broadmeadow at Erme Valley next Sunday, with a 2pm KO. Congratulations
to Gerry, Mike and of course the boys for a great performance and
deserved victory. |

- Barry Fry dinner on Thursday. We look forward to our
first Sportsmans dinner of 2010, at which we will be hosting the
legendary Barry Fry as our guest speaker. The evening will be held
at Boringdon Golf Club and will include a 3 course meal and a top
quality comedian. Tickets are available for £35 per person
or £350 for a table of 10. Anyone interested should contact

- Under 15's through to quarter-finals of Devon Cup. The
U15's beat Staddiscombe 2-0 on Sunday to progress through to the
quarter-finals of the Under 15's Devon County FA Boys Cup competition.
They have been given a tough draw and will face Tiverton Town Youth
at Erme Valley on Sunday 21st February. We wish the lads the very
best of luck. |

- First beat Tavy and face Exeter City in the St Lukes Bowl. The
First team put on a very strong performance this evenin, beating
Tavistock 2-0. We have been given a very exciting draw against League
Club Exeter City in the Quarter-Finals. This will be played on 31st
March, the venue and KO time are yet to be confirmed. |

Secretary Paul Cocks returns to India to work for another 4 months

- First team secure 3 points in win over Cullompton. On
a very difficult and sticky surface at Erme Valley, Ivybridge put
on a strong performance to beat Cullompton 1-0. |

- Reserves draw 8-goal thriller. Ivybridge Reserves were
at last in action today after being seriously disrupted by the recent
cold and wet weather. They drew 4-4 wilth the University of Plymouth. |

- Mixed bag for Junior teams. Only a handful of the Junior
teams played today and it was a mixed bag of results. The U11's
had a great day, beating Torpoint Athletic 6-0. The U9's team in
the Plym division were very unlucky to lose 1-0 at home to Plymstock
and the U10's lost 4-0 to Tamarside. |

- Devon FA present Charter Standard Award. Lee Rider and
Ian Leonard from Devon FA came to Erme Valley tonight to present
the prestigious FA Charter Standard Community Club Award to Club
Secretary Paul Cocks and a number of Club representatives and players. |

- Ivybridge awarded FA Community Club Stats - I am delighted
to confirm that Ivybridge Town FC have been awarded with the FA
Charter Standard Community Club Status. Ivybridge join an elite
selection of Clubs across the County to recieve this prestigious
award. This is a huge achievement considering the Junior section
is only 5 years old. Thanks to everyone at the Club who has made
this happen. |
